Black Magic
-
A commentary on the role of selfishness in practical magic, and distinguishing between pagan mythos and pagan ethos. Also, contains some of my more famous lines. From “Black Magic & Dark Paganism” at ConVocation 2009.
-
An example of a curse technique called “The Magic Bullet” where the sorcerer generates mutual hatred between the target and the police, and uses a lodestone to attract bullets to the target’s heart. Not for the squeamish.
-
An example of a curse technique called “The Hell Tree,” where the sorcerer creates a malevolent device which can curse a sequence of targets, feeding on them and growing its power over time.
-
Some observations on the darker side of paganism, black magic, and its challenge to authority, from the groundbreaking and historic event “Black Magic And Dark Paganism” at PantheaCon 2008.
-
A reading covering the ethos and practices of black magic, a survey of curse methods, and dark paganism– a term which I coined in the early 1990s. This was my very first lecture, anywhere.
